About GITAM

The Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management, popularly known as GITAM, was founded in 1980 by an inspired group of eminent intellectuals and industrialists of Andhra Pradesh led by Dr. M. V. V. S. Murthi, former Member of Parliament and popular philanthropist. The vision of Mahatma Gandhi was to see India as a socially and economically resurgent country, and he looked upon education as an important means to achieve this goal. At GITAM, we are constantly working teaching, research, and consultancy by creating an environment in which the faculty and students share a passion for creating, sharing, and applying knowledge to continuously improve the quality of education.

About the Conference

The Department of Electrical, Electronics & Communication Engineering (EECE), GITAM School of Core Engineering (GSCE), Bengaluru, is organizing GITAM IC-ELECTRONS 2027, a flagship international conference on "Converging Electrical, Electronic, Communication & Nanoscale Technologies for a Sustainable Future." The conference serves as the primary point of contact for authors, delegates, sponsors, and the international advisory network, and supports the Call for Papers, registration, and program dissemination. The department is supported by an academic strength of approximately 800+ students and 30+ Qualified Faculty with PhDs from premier Institutions members, along with the MURTI Research Center and allied research groups driving the department's research agenda.

Why "IC-ELECTRONS"27? — the name reflects the conference's scope across the full EECE technology spectrum: from core Electrical and Electronic systems, through Telecommunications, Radio Frequency, and Optoelectronics, to Nanotechnology and the Smart Intelligent Systems these technologies now converge to build.

GITAM IC-ELECTRONS 2027 invites the submission of original, unpublished research contributions across Electrical, Electronics, Communication, RF, Optoelectronics, Nanotechnology, and Smart Intelligent Systems.

Researchers, faculty members, research scholars, students, and industry professionals are invited to contribute their latest research, innovations, methodologies, and applications.

Please refer to the Conference Tracks section for the detailed track descriptions and the Call for Papers section for the conference timeline and important dates.

Publication Opportunities

ISBN-Assigned Book of Abstracts

Accepted abstracts will be considered for inclusion in the ISBN-assigned publication associated with IC-ELECTRONS 2027.

The publication will showcase selected research contributions across electrical, electronics, communication, and nanoscale technologies, highlighting emerging innovations and advances presented at the conference.

Journal Publication

Accepted and presented papers may be considered for publication in reputed journals indexed in Scopus, Web of Science (WoS), and/or SCI, subject to journal scope, quality requirements, peer review, and editorial approval.

Journal publication and indexing are subject to the respective journal's policies, review process, and final editorial decision.

Review Process

Paper Submission

Authors submit their original manuscripts through the designated conference submission system, following the prescribed template and formatting guidelines.

Initial Screening

Submitted papers undergo an editorial screening for scope, originality, completeness, formatting, and compliance with conference requirements.

Plagiarism Check

Manuscripts are screened for plagiarism and significant textual overlap before entering peer review.

Peer Review

Each eligible manuscript is evaluated by independent reviewers with relevant expertise. The review considers:

  • Originality and novelty
  • Technical quality and correctness
  • Methodology and analysis
  • Relevance to the conference theme
  • Clarity and organization
  • Significance of the contribution

Decision

Based on reviewer recommendations, papers may be Accepted, Accepted with Revisions, or Rejected.

Revision & Final Submission

Authors of papers requiring revision must address reviewer comments and submit the revised manuscript within the specified deadline.

Final Acceptance & Presentation

Accepted papers must complete registration and be presented at IC-ELECTRONS 2027 in accordance with the conference presentation guidelines.

  • The submission must be original and unpublished.
  • The research contribution must be relevant to one of the conference tracks.
  • Manuscripts must follow the prescribed template and formatting requirements.
  • Complete author, affiliation, and corresponding author details must be provided.
  • Submissions must be made through the designated submission system.
  • Authors must comply with applicable publication ethics and research integrity requirements.
  • Any conflicts of interest must be disclosed.
  • The manuscript must not be simultaneously under consideration elsewhere.
